PRONOUN (INTERMEDIATE)

Definition:

A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun in a sentence.

Types of Pronouns

1. Personal Pronouns

I, You, He, She, It, We, They

Example:

She is a doctor.

2. Possessive Pronouns

Mine, Yours, His, Hers, Ours, Theirs

Example:

This book is mine.

3. Demonstrative Pronouns

This, That, These, Those

Example:

This is my bag.

4. Interrogative Pronouns

Who, Whom, Whose, Which, What

Example:

Who is your teacher?

5. Reflexive Pronouns

Myself, Yourself, Himself, Herself, Itself, Ourselves, Themselves

Example:

She completed the work herself.
