Definition:
An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
Types of Adverbs
1. Adverb of Manner
Tells how an action happens.
Examples:
Slowly, Carefully, Easily, Well
Sentence:
She sings beautifully.
2. Adverb of Time
Tells when an action happens.
Examples:
Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday, Now
Sentence:
I will call you tomorrow.
3. Adverb of Place
Tells where an action happens.
Examples:
Here, There, Everywhere, Outside
Sentence:
Please sit here.
4. Adverb of Frequency
Tells how often an action happens.
Examples:
Always, Usually, Often, Sometimes, Never
Sentence:
He always arrives on time.
5. Adverb of Degree
Tells to what extent.
Examples:
Very, Too, Quite, Almost

The tea is very hot.
